Job Description :
Job Summary

Manages the relationship cycle with major vendors. Identifies, qualifies, selects, and monitors vendors and suppliers, and negotiates final contracts. Establishes systems and procedures to ensure and enhance overall quality of vendor services. Establishes requirements and monitoring measures for suppliers to achieve process and quality standards and commitments. Facilitates development of team and partner relationships with vendors and suppliers, and maintains relationships for long-term contracts.
  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  • Oversee receiving, inventory, outbound and service operations
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Produce reports & status updates regularly
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
  • Proven work experience in an operations focused environment
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Position is co-located in the vendor warehouse facility
  • Ability to work on your feet for the majority of the day
  • Ability to withstand climate in a warehouse environment
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two years related work experience or six years related work experience post high school
  • Two years vendor relationship experience
