Job Summary

Plans, organizes and conducts extremely difficult investigations of alleged or suspected violations of laws and regulations concerning criminal and general investigations, fraud, computer crimes and provides technical investigative services. Develops investigative strategy, interviews personnel and vendors, interviews suspects for admissions, documents investigations with evidence so criminal and/or civil procedures are facilitated. Maintains a liaison with the legal department as well as local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in order to achieve maximum results that support business efforts. Investigates suspected highly complex sophisticated criminal activities, which have significant impact on health, safety, operational mission, or fiscal/ethical integrity. Conducts extremely sensitive investigations that require significant understanding of depth and scope of potential impact that results may have on the organization. Analyzes and evaluates investigative progress to reassess priorities, leads and direction. The successful candidate will support compliance activity governed by the Federal Government, which limits access privileges to United States citizens (without dual citizenship). Candidate must meet United States government security requirements in accordance with government contract.
The role of Regional Security Manager ideally will be located in San Ramon, CA and the Greater Bay Area to include Sacramento, CA

In this role, you will need the ability to work cases with competing priorities as well as work on very complex investigations. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to effectively manage people and the investigative process while participating in cross-functional security teams. Having a solid background in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
  • The role will require one to have a valid driver's license in order to complete the required travel needs of the job.
  • One would expect to travel approximately 20 to 30 percent of the time in an assigned area or where needed.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work
  • U.S. Citizenship (without dual citizenship)
  • Current or ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (required)
  • Two years security experience
  • Two years project management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification
  • ASIS - Professional Certified Investigator [PCI]
