Job Summary

Applications Developer III, Sprint Corporation, Kansas City, MO

Design, develop, and test mobile applications. Interface and communicate with Product Management, User Experience & Design, and back office development teams. Code all aspects of the applications (server side, device side) and design the software architecture. Provide end-to-end testing of application, including any server components that the application might interface with. Work in a cross-functional team environment utilizing the SCRUM agile development methodology using JIRA, Rally, Assembla. Lead the development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications. Analyze complex systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Code, test, and debug documents, and implement software applications. Create innovative products and services delivered to mobile devices.


Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer applications, or related field and four years related work experience. Related experience must include: four years Enterprise Java development, coding, and software application experience. Experience must also include object oriented design patterns; TCP/IP socket programming; shell scripting (bash, SH, KSH); continuous integration (branching, merging source control); agile/scrum; JavaEE; EJB; Spring; JDBC; SQL; NoSQL; REST Web Services or SOAP; Eclipse or other java IDE; Junit; JSON; XML; Source Control (GIT, SVN acceptable); Hibernate / JPA; Unix; Maven; JMSQ / Java Messaging; Log4j or Slf4j; Mockito or EasyMock.
