Job Summary

Researches, designs, plans, develops and/or evaluates new, advanced network technologies by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design for projects of highest complexity and multiple technologies. Conducts in-depth assessment of the customer's networked application needs, providing network modeling and simulation testing, consulting to further clarify needs, and engineering high-speed technology network transports to deliver application functionality. Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve very complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Proven technical leader needed to lead the Magic Box technical strategy into the next generation of unlicensed and 5G technologies.
  • Analyze and process industry trends and supplier capabilities for new generations of small cell products
  • Lead Magic Box 2 year technical roadmap
  • Align Magic Box feature deliveries with upcoming Macro feature and Macro strategy
  • Perform High Level Feature Design across multiple small cell platforms
  • Prioritize Magic Box features to maximize performance improvement for all areas of Magic Box
Candidates should have:
  • Proven leadership of complex technical programs
  • Small Cell or Macro RF expertise
  • Experience managing roadmaps, feature planning, and strategy.
  • Experience presenting to senior executives

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
  • Three years experience with research, design, planning and development of new advanced network technologies, network components and radio frequency (RF) and/or wireless transmission
  • Two years project management and project implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Small Cell System Design Experience
  • Understanding of Core and IP technologies
  • Understanding of current small cell industry trends
