Job Summary

Collects, interprets, analyzes and communicates data on expanded strategic options and supports the company's long-range planning. Conducts research and provides analytic support in the evaluation of corporate-level strategy initiatives in areas of strategic partnerships, new market and product/service development, customer segment and channel expansion. Assists in formulating corporate-level strategic responses and market positioning. Conducts periodic reviews of business plans against objectives. Supports scenario analysis, business case development, strategic relationship development and enterprise value analysis. Develops and implements complex business analysis plans and assumptions including completeness, applicability, and timeliness of business plans.
Additionally, the candidate will be the go-to person in the Services and Enablement for everything data-driven and analytics based. Utilizes diverse and complex data sets supporting the SCM Services and Enablement team and develops insightful reports to drive strategies.
Key responsibilities include:


  • Will identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences through established mathematical and statistical methodologies
  • Develop the data necessary for internal and external stakeholders to build change and execute Sprint Network Supply Chain strategies
  • Ability to analyze the components of a problem and get to its root cause, as well as providing data driven suggestions/recommendations for resolution
  • Construct forecasts, recommendations and strategic (and tactical) plans based on business data and knowledge
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and available data
  • Utilize advanced data-analysis skills to explain business issues and financial implications
  • Identify and recommend workflow improvements that enable business units to improve workflow processes
  • Use multiple data sets to create reports, insights and develop actionable recommendations based on scenario analysis.
  • Creativity in developing SCM data frameworks and models based on unstructured data
Skills:


  • Advanced Excel; Access proficiency – experience with excel power BI interface
  • Expert at data visualization and analytics
  • Alteryx experience; MSI experience; MS SQL
  • Familiarity with Sprint Network systems is a plus (MSI, Atlas, SprintVision, JDA etc.)
  • Six Sigma background is a plus





Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years strategic planning experience
  • Three years experience in cost analysis, product profitability, and financial model development

Preferred Qualifications
This position is responsible for assessing and assisting with Network inventory needs supporting longer term Network Deployment plans. Functions include developing cost benefit models and performing sensitivity analysis focused on strategic programs. An important part of the program will be delivering executive level insights and recommendations.

Extensive experience with analytic and project management tools including Alteryx, MS excel, MS project, with experience programming in Macros, complex multi nested formulas and other aspects of semi automation. Financial Acumen in areas of ROI, EVA analysis, Statistical Analysis experience in practical business applications, Wireless network cell site deployment Experience.
