Job Summary

Prepares, manages and/or administers contracts and subcontracts. Reviews and approves contractual documentation in order to adhere to company policy, satisfy customer specifications and protect company's contractual posture. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations. Interprets terms and conditions. Responsible for negotiating, structuring and administrating contracts of diverse and complex scope that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and/or partners. Works on complex issues requiring in-depth analysis or situations or data. Works with sales teams and legal departments to structure contracts. Represents the organization as the principal customer contact and generally performs in a program/project leadership role. Interacts with management and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.
Responsibility for OEM Handsets, Accessories, Software, Services, and Logistics agreements including MPAs, MSAs, Term Sheets, LOAs, NDAs, and SOWs.
  • Leads the contracting process for the most complex spend categories, and conducting category spend analyses.
  • Responsible for supporting RFP process and bid evaluations.
  • Conducts contract negotiations including pricing, logistics, service level guarantees, and terms with suppliers. Develops supplier performance criteria.
  • Understands the supplier markets and anticipates changes in market conditions, reliability of supply and supply economics. Sources materials, equipment, supplies, and commodity products.
  • Evaluates, selects, monitors and maintains contractual relationships with vendors.
  • Performs analysis of purchasing needs, including analysis of costs and performance. Forecasts supply requirements, issues periodic reports on trends, and negotiates pricing, discounts, and contracts.
  • Leads contract compliance efforts to ensure suppliers are in compliance with contractual terms and processes.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years contract administration experience
  • Three years project/program management experience
