Job Summary

Applications Developer III, Sprint Corporation, Kansas City, MO

Develop solutions that produce Pinsight's Data Products and support Analytics and Data Science in a fast-paced environment where innovation and agility are encouraged and rewarded. Work closely with stakeholders on Scrum teams to define and design solutions. Code, test, and debug applications and distributed systems, and capture architecture artifacts and documentation. Undertake complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Coordinate with users to determine requirements that are more complex. Coordinate with and support data and product operations teams.


Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 4 years related work experience. Related experience should include: Enterprise Java experience developing server-side applications; Spring framework; HTTP, REST, XML, JSON; Expertise in writing complex ANSI SQL queries with Oracle, MySql, Postgres databases; Hadoop- lambda architecture, streaming data ingestion and processing, HA HDFS, YARN, SPARK, HIVE; coding in an Agile/Scrum environment; OO design patterns; Architecture and design modeling through UML; Lambda architecture, MapReduce, TEZ, spark, kafka, storm, and zookeeper.
