Job Summary

Provides administrative support to a vice president. Performs advanced, diversified and confidential administrative secretarial duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of organization policies and practices. Prepares correspondence, memoranda, and reports. Screens telephone calls and visitors, and resolves routine and some complex inquiries. Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries, and coordinates related arrangements. Prepares and distributes minutes of meetings. Assists with preparation of reports. Requires a broad working knowledge of departmental and company policies and practices. May utilize the assistance of other administrative assistants on a project basis. Works under limited supervision.
This is a great opportunity for a team oriented and tech savvy executive admin in the Reston VA executive offices of Sprint, reporting to the VP of Federal and Public Sector and two directors. You should be a multitasking highly motivated admin professional who can juggle multiple priorities, manage calendars, travel and meetings as well as be the anchor for the team for whatever is needed to make the business successful. Experience with government sector a plus!
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three years administrative support experience operating a computer in a Windows based environment

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting a senior executive in government agency or contractual/consultative services provider for DOD or Federal Government
