Job Description :
Job Summary

Responsible for retaining and growing a base of assigned accounts such as school districts, utilities companies, healthcare providers with added focus on obtaining new logo customers. Grows business base of accounts using the appropriate growth and retention activities and programs. Sells, services and grows base of approximately 80 accounts based on geographic/vertical characteristics and management discretion to meet defined objectives. Uses the Account planning process to develop strategies to identify and close opportunities where appropriate. Partners with other channel account managers and executives within Public Sector Sales team with approval where appropriate to close business. Sells full product suite, including Wireline - total account management.
Must have valid driver's license, three consecutive years of active driving history, successfully complete driver's safety training, and otherwise comply with Sprint's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two years related work experience or six years related work experience post high school
  • One year experience selling in a business-to-business environment
  • One year experience of new customer acquisition experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience in solutions/applications selling in wireless industry
  • One year experience in sales funnel management and forecasting
