Job Summary

Supports marketing, advertising and promotional activities within a Sprint geographic area or region of operation for all brands and channels. Assists to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of Sprint and its brands. Responsible for executing channel and brand strategies, supporting local promotions and events and delivering marketing and public relations support to engage customers and support sales activities. Gathers intelligence on local offers and opportunities. Utilizes internal and external resources to execute programs. Writes, communicates and educates internal team about the local marketing strategy and offers. Leads social media to ensure consistency and adherence to brand and marketing strategy.
  • Supports political, civic and philanthropic opportunities
  • Manages local acquisition programs
  • Works with regional field manager to determine customer outreach
  • Develops local analysis on customer base
  • Brings local experience into our retail locations
  • Leads retail store grand opening and other events in stores
Must have valid driver's license, three consecutive years of active driving history, successfully complete driver's safety training, and otherwise comply with Sprint's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two years related work experience or six years related work experience post high school
  • Two years experience managing local marketing efforts to include events, media campaigns and sponsorship activities
  • Two years experience working with sales teams and executives

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as Event Planner and/or project manager
  • Two years experience with managing several national brands
  • Two years experience in promoting telecom and/or wireless
