Job Summary

Manages a small team of Small Business Consultants (SBCs) to bring incremental business sales through prospecting to surrounding small-sized (1-25 employees) businesses. Supervises funnel management and customer activity through SalesForce.com. Small Business Supervisor will forge and grow relationships across all levels of the local consumer sales channels, including retail sales makers, assistant store managers, store managers, area store managers, Indirect Account Executives, Indirect Sales Managers and dealer principles/sales makers. Works to identify business sales opportunities and internal support needs. Provides immediate supervision, monitors workflow, and assigns tasks, goals and objectives to SBC. Participates in hiring, termination, performance, and salary reviews.
Works with local consumer sales leadership and sales executives as a professional consultant, identifying knowledge, training needs and making recommendations of improving business sales acumen. Motivates retail sales associates and L3P sales associates to learn and sell Sprint branded products and services, to walk-in traffic (new customers and base) against a predetermined base line. Works with select retail and L3P party consumer dealers to develop plans for improving small business walk-in conversions, base up-sell/cross-sell and outside prospecting if applicable. Conducts regular/scheduled on-sight training on sales techniques, including prospecting, account qualification, closing techniques and value-added selling. Assists in “outside” and phone based account prospecting new accounts and base opportunities.Must have valid driver’s license, three consecutive years of active driving history, successfully complete driver’s safety training, and otherwise comply with Sprint’s Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
• Three years sales experience
• Two years supervisory/leadership experience
