Job Summary

Forges and grows relationships across all levels of the local consumer sales channels, including retail sales makers, assistant store managers, store managers and area store managers, IAEs and ISMs and dealer principles/sales makers. Identifies business sales opportunities and internal support needs. Works with local consumer sales leadership and sales executives as a professional consultant, identifying knowledge and training needs and making recommendations of improving business sales acumen. Motivates retail sales associates and local 3rd party sales associates to learn and sell Sprint branded business products and services, to walk-in traffic (New customers and Base) against a predetermined base line. Works with select retail and local 3rd party consumer dealers to develop plans for improving small business/CL walk-in conversions, base up-sell/cross-sell and outside prospecting if applicable. Conducts regular/scheduled on-sight training on sales techniques, including prospecting, account qualification, closing techniques and value-added selling. Assists in "outside" and phone based account prospecting new accounts and base opportunities.
Must have valid driver's license, three consecutive years of active driving history, successfully complete driver's safety training, and otherwise comply with Sprint's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years sales and/or account management experience
