Job Summary

Applications Developer III, Sprint Corporation, Overland Park, KS


Develop cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications. Analyze complex systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Code, test, and debug documents, and implement software applications. Undertake complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge including use of big data Analytics using Hadoop/Teradata and network data. Coordinate with users to determine requirements that are more complex. Exercise good verbal and spoken skills, and provide leadership in working with all stakeholders of the team.


Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years of related experience. Related experience must include: Data warehousing, Database and ETL development; RAN performance management applications and KPI development with RF/Core network data and Telecom; Hadoop development in Hive/hbase/Java UDFs and Pig; Teradata development [TDCH/TPT loaders], and Sql Server/SSIS/SSRS/SSAS development; systems design/development of software applications.
