Job Summary

Provides technical expertise and value to integrate the systems, including interpretations of designs, applications, and service information. Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products. Assists in technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer training. May work through all phases of customer interaction including customer analysis and design implementation.

The responsibilities associated with this position include configuring storage systems, maintaining the currency of storage systems, reviewing and providing feedback on storage designs, provisioning storage, performing storage zoning changes, collecting diagnostic data for storage problems, working with storage vendor's support teams, troubleshooting and implementing changes to bypass problems, representing storage operations in project meetings and performing primary and secondary on-call duties.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two years related work experience or six years related work experience post high school
  • Two years experience in systems designs
  • Two years experience technical project management

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EMC SAN and NAS storage systems?xml:namespace prefix = "o" /
  • Experience with IBM SAN storage systems
  • Experience with CISCO MDS and NEXUS SAN environments
  • Experience with CISCO UCS environments
  • Experience with automation using scripting and programming
  • Experience with InsightIQ, Virtual Instruments and ViPR
  • Experience with configuring storage for AIX, Solaris, Linux and Windows servers
