Job Summary

Relationship management focused position with responsibility for working with PS verticals. Drives cross channel activities and uses appropriate distribution channel to achieve quota. Retains and grows a base of assigned accounts such as school districts, utilities companies, healthcare providers with added focus on obtaining new logo customers. Secures new logo accounts in accordance with quota requirements in a relationship management capacity to meet customized quotas. Sell services and grows assigned base of customers in accordance with quota requirements. Executes against Solution and Vertical strategy as assigned by the management team. Uses the Account planning process to develop strategies to identify and close opportunities where appropriate. Responsible for individual Billing Accounts ownership and account management. Partners with other Public Sector Sales resources with approval where appropriate to develop account strategy and close business managing state wide and other contracts as applicable.
Understanding of governmental procurement cycles, purchasing vehicles and buying centers is necessary for success.Must have valid driver's license, three consecutive years of active driving history, successfully complete driver's safety training, and otherwise comply with Sprint's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
  • Five years experience selling in a business-to-business environment
  • Five years experience of new customer acquisition experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years experience in solutions/applications selling in wireless industry
  • Five years experience in sales funnel management and forecasting
  • Five years experience in sales into the Federal Government
  • Federal Security Clearance is Preferable
