Job Summary

The Senior Video Producer will help lead the creation and production of video content for Sprint's marketing and internal communications needs. Must be a talented story-teller, writer and storyboard artist. The Senior Producer will communicate with the talent what is exactly needed to convey a particular scene. Often times the Senior Producer will be heavily involved in all areas of pre-production including storyboarding, script editing, casting, scene selection, and shot composition. Help lead and coordinate the activities of writers, directors, managers, artists and other creative and/or technical personnel throughout the production process. Monitor post-production processes in order to ensure accurate completion of all creative details. Perform management activities such as budgeting, scheduling, planning, and marketing. Determine production size, content and budget. Establish details such as production schedules and management policies. Compose and edit scripts, or provide screenwriters with story outlines from which scripts can be written. Conduct meetings with staff to discuss production progress and to ensure production objectives are attained. Work with internal and external clients to ensure accurate and timely production of creative materials

  • Excellent client and project management skills.
  • Executive leadership skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of video production including pre-production, production and post-production.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and production related decisions.
  • Communicate ideas, concepts and project details to the Executive Producer and senior management.
  • Ability to adhere to departmental procedures including obtaining VP approval on all materials before distribution.

Basic Qualifications
  • Digital video production experience in an agency or newsroom setting
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder and After Effects
  • Talented and creative article and video script writer (Agency and social platform experience preferred)
  • Responsible for coordinating video production scheduling and managing content files
  • BS degree or equivalent experience in film studies, cinematography or related field

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in all areas of media production including broadcast television, social and digital.
  • Experience managing daily production related activities including budget, scripts, storyboarding, crew hires, editing, deliverables and quality control.
