Job Summary

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Details the specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Identifies and evaluates systems and procedures. Configures system settings and options, plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing, and creates specifications for systems. Acts as a liaison between development groups and business units.
In this role we expect the resource to perform following duties:
  1. Provide production and operations support for Mule platform (consisting of Mule ESB, Redis, Playframework, and Apache)
  2. Analyze Mule API, and multiple systems' performance and review results with onshore and offshore team members for finding potential improvements.
  3. Provide executive summary on the platform metrics, stability, and recommendations (if any)
  4. This position is for a team providing 24x7 support, and hence would require resource to work weekends/evenings if needed.
  5. Work with multiple IT and business groups on release schedule and planning.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years experience in information systems programming
  • Three years experience in systems specification or structured analysis
  • Three years experience with project or process management

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in prod/test support, and operations
  2. Experience in Mule development/administration, Apache administration
  3. Knowledge on REST APIs
  4. Knowledge on change management process
  5. Knowledge on SDLC models
  6. Experience in Release/Project Management
