Job Summary

Provides technical expertise and value to integrate the systems, including interpretations of designs, applications, and service information. Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products. Assists in technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer training. May work through all phases of customer interaction including customer analysis and design implementation.
This candidate will work in Lenexa and/or Lee's Summit Data Centers performing physical hardware and connectivity work. The candidate must be high energy with experience working in a Data Center environment. This position requires physical work & physical presence at the work site to be successful. This position requires the ability to work well with others together on a team in a 24 x 7 environment with constant & consistent communication to be successful. This position requires an individual to be able to work flexible work hours to include late night & early morning work on a regular basis. The Data Center Systems Integrator performs various important functions to keep the Data Center running smoothly. Among many responsibilities & advanced skills for the integration & connectivity of hardware compute devices, excellent decision making skills, superb communicator, design interpretation to implement an installation or removal of hardware compute equipment with the ability to monitor, diagnose and resolve Network, storage, back up & computer system issues in the physical layer.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two years related work experience or six years related work experience post high school
  • Two years experience in systems designs
  • Two years experience technical project management

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to travel between Lenexa & Lees Summit locations
  • Networking certification
  • advanced knowledge of hardware & networking
Highly preferring candidate will have
  • Team focused first with positive attitude
  • Availability to work flexible hours in a 24 x 7 environment
  • Experience working in IT & working in a Data Center
