Job Summary

Performs remote, on-site or in-house servicing and/or repair of company products/services. Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Serves as contact on technical and service related problems. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures, using established procedures. Determines most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime. Contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways. Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Often leads or supervises the activities of other non-exempt personnel.

· Provides technical consultation to the Sprint sales team during the pre-sales process including Network analysis, device compatibility evaluation, router configuration, and hardware customization

· Technical resource during customer trials, providing proactive analysis of customer usage and network experience, recommendations based on those findings, in addition to the immediate response to technical issues discovered during the course of the testing period

· Onboarding/Deployment of Carefree Cloud products (MSO 365, G-Suite, Dialpad) including domain configuration, User information import, mail routing and data migration, SMTP relay, Mobile Device configuration, AD Connect setup and configuration

· Management of vendor ticket escalations, advocating for customer and implementing the solution

· Lifecycle support of Carefree Cloud products including user configuration, file recovery, spam filtering, TLS encryption, archive setup, document sync, App installation and synchronization

· Creates proposals, including comprehensive technical analysis and recommendations, to provide best solution for business customers

· Analyzes past customer trial data to provide product and service recommendations based on previous solution success

· Demonstrates the benefit of Sprint supported solutions by customizing, presenting, and implementing the solution during the trial period

· Researches and gains understanding of the customer’s industry, including common business problems

· Develops technical documentation, including customer-facing how-tos and sales reference materials

· Creates presentation materials for Sprint solutions, including Sales job aids and customized customer-facing documents

· Identifies opportunities to improve customer trial experience by assessing current network capabilities, customer success criteria, and small cell enhancement potential

· Ability to work across multiple lines of business with several stakeholders, including projects with executive level visibility. Must be able to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals

· Stays current with business, industry, and professional developments

· Consistently identifies ways to improve the business and make recommendations based on technical expertise and experience

· Assists other technicians on the team by providing complex troubleshooting assistance as well as owning escalations through to completion

Job is based in Englewood, CO and working from the office is a requirement. Absent a reasonable accommodation or military obligation, employees must be available to work a flexible schedule (including days, nights, weekends and holidays).

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year technical support experience
  • One year customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications
Technical Certification(s): MCSA, MCSE, CCENT, CCNA, G-Suite Certified Administrator
  • Business Sales experience
  • Technical writing experience
  • Strong presentation skills, including remote/online presentations
  • Wireless application experience
