Job Summary

Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Presents recommendations to senior management for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts. Evaluates budget performance, expenditures, and operational effectiveness. Responsible for conducting and documenting complex financial analysis projects. May provide functional guidance or training to less-experienced financial analysts.
Position will be responsible for leading the Quarterly Area/Region Financial and Subscriber planning processes. Specific activities will include designing, coordinating and communicating all planning assumptions and activities across the key stakeholders involved in the process. This position will interact across all Finance departments including the Area & Region teams, Segments, Channels, Prepaid, Corporate, MR&A, and Finance Ops teams ensuring key process owners are aware of the key deliverable dates, and important planning information is communicated and reviewed by impacted parties. In addition this position will assist in generating and publishing tools to assist the Area & Region Finance team in analyzing their Financial and Subscriber data. There will also be involvement in the preparation of presentation materials for Senior Leadership meetings.




Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
  • Five years corporate financial analysis and/or business case development experience

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in Finance roles with focus on budgeting and forecasting would be ideal.
Ability to work independently, develop new processes or improve on existing processes.
Advanced excel skills and working knowledge of Hyperion are a plus, along with knowledge and use of Powerpoint
