Job Summary

Leads the development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications. Analyzes complex systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Codes, tests, and debugs documents, and implements software applications. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Coordinates with users to determine requirements that are more complex.
Candidate will hands-on develop Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform components, templates, workflows, and other AEM building blocks. Responsibilities include developing code specifically for AEM; enhancing the AEM platform’s architectural design and functionality, & hands-on AEM code maintenance of highly transactional and interactive web sites. This system-level integration, and automated unit testing of our AEM platform with other Adobe tech-stack tools (Target; Audience Mgr). Candidate will be responsible for integrating AEM with a vast array of Mulesoft (REST) APIs. Candidate will contribute to major AEM technical discussions and AEM enhancement initiatives related to improving customer experience, usability, latest web technologies, prototype development etc. Ability to work with multiple departments within the organization such as marketing, advertising, design, vendors, and content professionals. At times may lead/supervise the work of other individuals assigned to the projects within the team to ensure the accountability for goals, objectives, and operational policies are achieved.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years systems development experience
  • Three years coding experience
  • Three years software application experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree
  • Experience of five years with three years of proven AEM(6.x) platform development with references; examples to show
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to relay and gain acceptance of complex technical AEM-based solutions to all types of internal audiences at Sprint
  • Deep understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, workflows, widgets, of large-scale web projects
  • Significant hands-on solution architecture experience with AEM and very strong concepts of OSGi, Apache Sling, Apache Sightly, Apache Oak and Adobe Dispatcher
  • Experience with automated unit testing methods for web/AEM code
  • Deep understanding of front-end AEM site deployments, AEM Caching, Clustering and replication mechanisms
  • Expertise in AEM foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the AEM platform, the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, a solid understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc, and the AEM development and AEM deployment process
  • Good understanding of relevant AEM "Java CMS" frameworks including Apache Sling for content- centric application development, Java Content Repository (JCR) and JSR- 170 / JSR- 283 for Content Management, JSR- 168 and JSR- 286 for Portal development, and Apache Felix for OSGi bundle development
  • Experience in integrating AEM with E-Commerce tools like ATG etc
  • Has worked on and implemented at least one of the popular Search engines with AEM like Solr, GSA or Lucene
  • Strong hand on experience of Components, Templates, Taxonomy, metadata management, Forward and Reverse Replication, Workflows, Content Publishing and un-publishing, Tagging, Deployment(Maven) and Content migration/ planning
  • Deep understanding of Generic Java technologies (J2SE 1.7/1.8), Java EE, Servlets, JSP, JSTL and Tag libraries
  • Mastery of all relevant core Java technologies that are used in most Java-centric CMS/WCM platforms, including but not limited to XML, XSL, XSLT, XSD, server-side programming models, and other related presentation, middle-tier & persistence frameworks
  • Strong Physical Architecture concepts (Infrastructure) including but not limited to Load Balancer’s(ELB), Apache set up, CDN, Disaster Recovery, recommending capacity of AEM publish and author instances.
  • Expert level working knowledge in spring, hibernate and Struts
  • Good understanding of REST API integrations
  • Ample knowledge and exposure in Frontend techs to drive discussions and recommend options based on Sprint’s needs. Should be able to understand Bootstrap, Backbone.js, React, Handlebars, Grunt, and Angular, CSS3, HTML, Sightly templating code, and JQuery
  • Involved in doing extensive Performance and Security testing for AEM based digital platforms. Understands Load model creation, OWASP top 10 and other related concepts
