Pinsight Media+ Sales professionals help digital media agencies and brands efficiently find, target, and acquire customers by matching advanced mobile media solutions to their specific strategies and tactics.
The Account Executive is a digital media sales professional that actively prospects for new business accounts. AEs are responsible for acquiring opportunities for agency and brand customers. Manages a large base of accounts with an extensive business portfolio of products, including on device placements, banner and video advertising, and new offerings as they come to pass. AEs are responsible for account planning and management to identify opportunities, manage their sales funnel, and close deals. AEs collaborate with sales professionals and executives, product vendors, and customers to develop solutions that address the client's needs.
Generates sales of company services in a portfolio of accounts, specific industry or assigned geographic territory. Builds and maintains network of colleagues, partners, and customers in information sharing and obtaining prospects. Observes and participates in products and services presentations to fill customer needs. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's entire product line with in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services within portfolio. Accurately updates and maintain daily activity and prospect information into Salesforce database, including comprehensive and up-to-date client information. Initiates customer contacts/visits with existing and prospective customers. Responsible for a cross-section of accounts.
Focused on selling mobile advertising products that leverage Sprint data and distribution for advanced customer targeting.
The ideal candidate will excel at the following job duties:
- Prospect, qualify and sell mobile targeting data segments/audiences to new accounts via phone, e-mail, social media, conferences and face-to-face sales calls
- Develop outbound lead generation programs to recruit new customers and actively responds to inbound leads
- Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
- Two years experience selling or supporting sales in a business-to-business environment
- Two years of new customer acquisition experience
3+ years sales experience in online media sales, advertising agency business development, or media buying client- or agency-side
1+ years of sales experience with mobile advertising
1+ years’ experience selling data segments/audiences to media buyers at brands and agencies
1+ year experience selling/working with programmatic buying teams
Existing rolodex of clients/contacts in the NYC region
Experience with salesforce.com or other CRM tool
