Job Summary

Manages all aspects of diverse, medium to moderately complex technical projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Manages budgets, invoices, and project timelines. Works across multiple teams and organizations to ensure project completion. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct team members and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.

The delivery lead for application development is responsible for driving technical, functional scope of committed work in the iteration, creating and reporting on iteration metrics, resolving dependencies and assisting in release planning. This person will be leading development squads responsible for the delivery of Sprint self-service Android and iOS mobile applications.

Major responsibilities include:

Drive the technical aspects of the committed development work for the scrum team for the iterations

Manage Technical dependencies and resolve impediments of the team

Facilitate estimation and creation of development tasks

Coordinate with the Release Manager on progress, scope changes, cross functional dependencies and risks

Participate in architecture planning and resolve API dependencies

Participate in iteration planning and sequencing of committed work

Facilitate iteration demo of team outputs

Own and update a planning view of the current scrum team commitments

Ensure the team records its work in JIRA in a correct and timely manner

Schedule and facilitate Scrum of Scrum ceremony, team stand-ups and Iteration Retrospective meetings to ensure tracking of inter-dependencies

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years experience managing technical projects
  • Three years experience with reporting and budgets

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Sprint procurement policies, processes, and systems
  • Knowledge of Sprint invoicing processes and systems
  • Knowledge of Wide Area Workflow
  • Knowledge of U.S. Federal Government contract structures, work scopes, and Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  • Three (3) years managing U.S. Federal Government Telecommunication contracts
  • Three (3) years experience with U.S. Federal Government Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), and Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) estimates
  • Three (3) years experience developing internal program budgets
  • Three (3) years experience monitoring subcontractor service delivery and performance
  • Three (3) years experience presenting and communicating with U.S. Federal Government staff at the Director, Manager, Program Manager, and technical level
  • Three (3) years experience presenting and communicating at the internal peer and senior executive level
  • Ability to attend customer meetings and/or conferences (domestic overnight travel)
  • Ability to attend customer meetings and/or conferences (International overnight travel)
  • Ability to attend customer meetings and/or conferences (same day travel)
  • Ability to perform work based on => 5 hour international time zone differences
