Job Summary

Plans, designs and implements networked systems of small scope and lower complexity. Provides engineering services and project management functions required to develop and implement non-complex network plans. Projects include technology changes within the platforms, new implementation guidelines and/or standards. Analysis includes switching, interconnection, national platforms and backbone facilities. Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons under the guidance of the supervisor or seasoned engineer.
Databasing core network elements and devices into Network Resource Management (NRM) system and providing upstream and down stream customers with system troubleshooting.
The position requires entry level understanding of Core Network Devices that support CDMA MM and LTE networks.
This position requires trouble shooting skills; the ability to work across internal and external organization to produce solutions to network topology design challenges; and, the ability to interpret equipment manufacturer specifications & documentation as well databasing templates
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or four years related work experience post high school
  • One year project management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience working with routers, bridges, concentrators and switches
  • One year project management experience
