Job Summary

Director Finance Operations acts as Finance lead for device leasing program. Responsible for financial aspects of Sprint's device leasing program, including reporting and analytics on key lease performance metrics and lease customer attributes. Partners with other Finance teams, the Product team, and Marketing team to manage financial performance of Sprint's innovative device leasing program. Provide financial support to establish vendor/partnership model for leasing including forward pricing, device recovery, and systems integration. Provides financial support to determine device qualification for leasing product portfolio, pricing and device residual value. Responsible for assessing risk associated with asset tracking and recovery of leased products. Responsible for key performance metric reporting and comprehensive financial analysis and reporting for the leasing portfolio. Partners with other finance teams to manage risk associated with leased asset tracking, depreciation, operating lease qualification, determination of financing options, tax implications, and cash requirements. Lead a small team and drive to high productivity/performance through engaging effectively and leading the larger, cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of Sprint Financial processes and systems
  • Strong data analytics, data mining, and reporting capabilities required
  • Experience successfully leading change and driving strategic initiatives across functions
  • Strong financial acumen skills and experience in financial analysis
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and ten years related work experience or fourteen years related work experience post high school
  • Ten years of progressive management experience
  • Five years of budgeting and forecasting experience


Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree
