Job Summary

Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences utilizing established mathematical/statistical methodologies. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. Utilizes advanced data analysis skills to explain business issues and financial implications, identify and recommend workflow improvements enable business unit to improve workflow processes. Works with various business units to accomplish objectives. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using internal reporting tools. Provides consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly insights, in-depth analytics and scorecard creation.
  • The responsibilities will include full end to end measurement from sales to retention on to proposed win-back opportunities by highlighting the full journey and interaction based analytics needed to drive the business
  • Responsible for translating business problems and finding solutions via effective reporting and actionable analyses that will include both detailed and aggregated analytics and data sources on digital campaigns, customer service needs, network utilization, voice of the customer surveys and any identified retention efforts.
  • Will leverage a variety of tools including pulling data directly out of relational databases (SQL, Teradata, etc.) to using existing front end GUI applications such as Adobe Analytics.
  • Present fact based analytics and insights from detailed views with the working teams to concise Executive Summaries pinpointing areas of attention or opportunities.
  • Ability to scope internal customer needs and translate those requests into knowing the specific data needs and sources that store the data and then easily connect multiple datasets and/or data sources via advanced technically data extraction techniques to provide actionable and just in time analytics for the business.

  • Ability to problem solve and think critically that extend beyond simple trending and reporting
  • Progressive and experienced background in analytics and root cause analysis
  • Able to excel in a fast paced environment with aggressive timelines and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to present clear, effective and concise results to both Operational and Executive levels.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint user

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years experience with analytics toolsets (e.g., SAS, SQL, Oracle, Teradata, MS Excel, Micro Strategies, etc.)
  • Three years experience designing business intelligence analytics and relational data structures
  • Three years experience developing complex reports and perform complex analyses of information in reports.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is preferred?xml:namespace prefix = "o" /
