Job Summary

Manages all aspects of diverse, medium to moderately complex technical projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost. Manages budgets, invoices, and project timelines. Works across multiple teams and organizations to ensure project completion. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct team members and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.

* Location: Overland Park KS preferred, but candidates in other parts of the South/Central region will be considered *

This TPM position will be responsible for managing Special Events and technical projects in support of South Area/Region Network goals. These projects require engineering and technical solutions to provide network coverage using COWs and mini macro cells as necessary. This includes Network Vision 4G LTE and CDMA and 2.5 GHz TD-LTE signal. Representative duties include project definition, planning, deployment, monitoring/controlling and close-out phases.

The TPM will need to work in our company databases: i-BAL, Sprint Vision, Siterra and Engineering Tool suite. Typical projects will include providing network coverage for Special Events, Sprint business locations such as executive briefing centers, call centers and key office locations and partner campuses. The TPM will be responsible for directing cross-functional teams as needed to execute these projects. This position will be responsible for ordering equipment and managing contractors. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years experience managing technical projects
  • Three years experience with reporting and budgets
