Job Summary

Evaluates and manages new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry. Develops discounted cash flow models to determine the appropriate valuation to support various projects. Ensures models are consistent with overall business goals and long term corporate vision showing the costs, potential risks, forecasted revenues and cash flows related to the project. Regularly interacts with key individuals within other support functions (e.g., tax, accounting, legal, HR, treasury, etc.) to coordinate due diligence activities needed to evaluate target companies. Interactions frequently involve utilizing negotiation and influencing skills relating to matters of significance to the organization. Manages and tracks the integration of consummated deals. Works cross functionally with other organizations to ensure the maximization of deal synergies. Directs and/or leads projects and provides guidance and direction to managers and individual contributors.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree and ten years related work experience or fourteen years related work experience post high school

- Ten years of progressive management experience

- Five years of mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy experience in the telecommunications or related industry
