Job Summary

Works with supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third-party warehousing. Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. Develops logistics plans and procedures. Prepares various reports indicating equipment status, inventory and shipment dates. Implements asset management, transportation, and procurement processes and procedures. Monitors equipment forecasts against budget. Organizes and handles a variety of logistics issues. Serves as liaison between sales and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge. Provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies, and participates in process/rating improvement efforts. Develops logistics plans and procedures.
The Senior Logistics Operations Analyst will serve as the pinnacle operations strategist of Sprint’s Local Logistics team. This key position will focus on ensuring optimization, efficiency and economy of the corporate logistics strategy. The Senior Logistics Operations Analyst will manage execution of the Logistics Management strategy supporting the mission statement of the corporate logistics platform. The analyst will coordinate and champion operational impact and performance efforts across the logistics team’s strategies and systems. In this role, the analyst will take the lead on implementation of logistics processes while communicating executional impacts of the logistics strategy on business operations.

Sample responsibilities:
  • Daily management and coordination of all support functions in logistics operations including, but not limited to, managing compliance of vendor performance against corporate logistics strategy guidelines, troubleshooting systemic issues, processing corporate requests, audit and oversight of logistics policy compliance.
  • Review KPI & SLA reports for all local operations; Investigate and report irregularities, identify compliance issues and recommend improvement initiatives, then lead required activities in order to address concerns.
  • Manage and coordinate audits of vendor shipping and receiving history to review and improve compliance.
  • End to end responsibility for local inventory management including, but not limited to, cycle counting, annual physicals, WMS and Sprint asset management alignment, and shrink.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
  • Five years inventory experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Administration
  • A minimum of (5) five years logistics operations, vendor management, distribution, warehousing and transportation
  • A minimum of (5) five years’ experience in project implementation/management
  • Ability to manage operations in a 3PL environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative is required
  • High attention to detail with ability to work well in team environments
  • Business Communication: Writes, speaks, and presents clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and adjusts communication style to the audience by translating and articulating technical concepts to non-technical groups.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product software
