As an Outside Events Lead Retail Consultant, you are a captain of change. You lead your events team to victory in the sales tent by sharing proven techniques for success. You make honest connections with your customers and your co-workers.

You take your sales knowledge, skills and passion for results to festivals, concerts, fairs and other exciting local events. You are highly motivated by making money based on your sales talent and sales background. You're a problem solver who is extremely social, self-motivated, assertive and persuasive. You thrive on change; can overcome objections easily and are results oriented. The outside events sales channel will offer Sprint products and services to participants at local events using creative approaches including Sprint branded vehicles with inventory and sales equipment.

You'll have a flexible schedule, so you must be available to work on weekends at various locations within a 100-mile radius. When not working events, booking new events will be a requirement of the position. This means you have the power to connect customers with places and events. You move Sprint's Brand forward by delivering an unmatched customer experience which brings Sprint's products, plans and services to them.
You stay current with the latest technologies and trends. You deliver the whole package to our future customers.   • Aside from reasonable accommodations or military obligations, employees must be available to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have valid driver's license, three consecutive years of active driving history, successfully complete driver's safety training, and otherwise comply with Sprint's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
  • Requires local travel within ~100 mile radius (75-100% of the time).
  • Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs moving of equipment/ furniture and standing for long periods of time.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year of Retail Sales or related experience

Preferred Qualifications
Proven sales track record that illustrates:
  • Sales initiative
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Strong sales solutions experience
  • Results orientation
  • Influencing and persuasion skills
