Job Summary

Manages the development and implementation process of services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects. Works on problems of diverse/broad scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Determines methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Assembles project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and plans and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Understands the system's scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Communicates with lead project manager and/or functional area manager regarding status of specific projects. Monitors budget/spending. May provide guidance and coaching to lower level employees in organizational methods.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of core retail products and services, and the sales programs and tools used to support sales of products and services
  • Build relationships with field sales teams, including executive management, and deliver consistent and timely information related to launches or improvements in programs or tools used to support sales of products and services
  • Identify the necessary resources needed to solve for issues impacting sales & operations, including the use of independent thinking as well as survey methods for collecting feedback from the field sales teams
  • Analyze sales and operational performance using basic and advanced tools; design meaningful reporting for use at the manager and executive levels of the organization - intended to drive improvements in performance
  • Provide updates based on independent and project team's analysis and research of complex scenarios; including the ability to provide exceptional presentations using power point
  • Responsible for development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective sales and operations processes
  • Effectively manage projects and programs to mitigate the possibility of over extending budgets; help to identify methods, approaches, and tools to reduce expenditures for the channel
  • Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives and internal resources in order to assist the sales and operations teams in accomplishing company goals

This position will be focused on processes and projects that positively affect the Sales frontline through strategic initiatives and program implementations mainly focused on balancing a thriving frontline culture, employee experience, company values and financial diligence. The successful candidate will be able to work across all organizations, at all levels to identify strategic needs derived from current state issues and opportunities, industry and competitive direction, retail best practices, and technological advances. The candidate will work through solutions, present and propose optimal solution with an understanding of business case; store, rep and customer impacts, and end-to-end execution needs.

Fundamental skills for this role include:

- Retail Sales and Sales Leadership - knowledge and/or experience
- Matrix managed management and leadership
- Project / Process management
- Continuous improvement / end-to-end mindset
- Expert at most Microsoft suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, Presentation
- Intermediate skills for Microsoft Project and Visio
- Strong, clear and professional written and oral communication style suitable for all levels

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
  • Three years project management or related process management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • CAPM or similar Project Management certification
