Job Summary

The Captioned Telephone Specialist relays telephone conversations between hearing or speech-impaired customers using a captioned telephone. Utilizes ability to listen then repeats exactly what is heard into speech recognition software that transforms the speech to text. Maintains confidentiality of all calls and tolerates stress of emotional dialogues.
Sprint Accessibility offers communication products and services to reduce or eliminate communication barriers for customers who are Deaf, DeafBlind, have a hearing or vision loss, and cognitive, speech or mobility disabilities.

Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm with 95% accuracy
