Job Summary

Interacts with consumer or business customers to handle customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone. May also respond to e-mail inquiries. Customer service is the primary function and contacts are predominantly routine but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. Records any consistent problem areas and may maintain records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes, and product pricing. May resolve return credit problems and answer billing questions. Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting. May answer non-technical questions regarding company products, assess needs, and suggest/promote alternative products or services. Directs problems which cannot be handled within Customer Service to the appropriate organization and follows up to ensure problem is resolved.

The starting hourly rate of pay for this position is 12.30 per hour. New hire employees will also be eligible for Sprint's bonus program. Under the bonus program, employees are eligible to earn an annual cash payout at 5% of their base salary if corporate objectives are achieved. Our current hours of operation are as follows: Monday-Saturday 6:00am-5:00pm.Experience navigating multiple computer screens and programs while interacting with customers.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience operating a computer in a Windows based environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Six months experience in a customer facing environment
  • Six months experience and/or technical education/training troubleshooting computer hardware, mobile phones, or other electronic devices
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking candidates needed
